How much more of a planner nerd can I get, when I'm this excited about using a new planner!
This Happy Planner from Me & My Big Ideas literally makes me happy! Highly recommended to all planner addicts!
A couple of months ago I posted a photo of what my desk area looked like. Here's an update! More stuff, more clutter! But fairly organised... still...

Created some laminated planner dashboards to sell in my shop. Plannerthings.com.
I used a few scrapbook paper that I've always liked and have had for awhile now. I thought it was time to make use of them! These planner dashboards are laminated and hole punched for 6 ring planner binders like Filofax and Kikki K. Comes in A5 or Personal size (medium).
I decided to create a video from still shots of the new 365 Create "Happy" Planner I bought last week - some people were asking to see what the inside of it looks like and I ended up taking heaps of photos! I don't have a web cam, yet, so a slide show is probably the next best thing to a flip through video. So here's my first attempt at a "planner" video!
This video is a sneak peak, look inside of the Good Things design Happy Planner by Me & My Big Ideas. I used Animoto to create this video and I love the results!
There were goodie bags and raffle prizes, and one of the organisers included a special pen for each of us who attended in our take home bags to make the night even more memorable! Thanks Kylie!!
It was awesome to see planners in person that I've only seen in photos - like the Kate Spades, Heidi Swapp black & white planner (love it, so dainty!), Webster's Pages, Inkwell, all sorts of Filofaxes, 'dori traveler style planners and so much more!
Talk about a super fun night! The Planner Addicts Australia Brisbane Meet Up last night was a blast! Around 15 planner chicks turned up to shop for stationery, have dinner at Jojo's Restaurant and gush over each other's planners! Thanks to a couple of fellow planner addicts who organised it and put so much effort to make it a success!
Thanks to one of my Instagram friends, I found out about the Scrapbook & Papercraft Expo that was held in South Brisbane Convention Centre. I ended up going on Saturday the 6th (June) and my parents decided to come along and scrummage through the bits and pieces of scrapbook supplies in there. I initially asked my mum if she wanted to go, since she's also into arts & crafts and it turned out that my dad wanted to check it out, as well... just to see something a bit different!
Here's what I bought at the Scrapbook Papercraft Expo! I mostly got washi tapes (omg over $100 worth) from Chiyogami Designs (met Andrea, the owner) and some journaling Project Life type cards. I didn't want to spend too much because there's more things I wanted to get this coming week. Plus, there's the Brisbane Planner Meet Up happening on Friday 12th and we'll be doing some stationery shopping then, too! So many things to buy!!
We all had a good time, bought quite a few things, had a nice lunch at Southbank, went back to the expo to buy more stuff and then had coffee & scrumptious muffins at the Charming Squire Cafe afterwards. Overall, we all had fun and had a great experience. So glad I went... because look! Cheapo washi tapes galore!!
