Kawaii is really just another word for cute (in Japanese). This doodle style I did was inspired by all that Kawaii stationery I see all over the place. It includes me (in the middle), my husband Dan & my son.
I've been eagerly waiting for my new planner to arrive ever since I received the message from them saying it's been shipped off! Fedex actually came here on Friday - the 13th! (dun dun dahhh) ... but I was out! I only went to the Post Office for a few minutes and that's when they decided to deliver it! Anyway, nobody was home so they just left a note saying they will come back on Monday to drop it off (which is today). It didn't come until after 5pm!! Talk about anticipation!!!
Well, it's finally arrived and it's awesome! A bit smaller than what I imagined but everything seems to be in order. The cover is bright and beautiful and I love that they included some nice stickers with it. At least, I can sleep better tonight - now that it's here!
I used to doodle all the time when I was in high school - the edges of my notebooks were usually filled with all kinds of patterns and doodles. These days, I rarely doodle, so I thought I would do this piece just so I know I can still do it. I love pop music and have thought about compiling something like this for ages! So here is my pop music doodles.
Designed my own weekly planner inserts for my Kikki K A5 planner. The "Personal" planner I got didn't include any weekly pages, so I decided to create my own. Each month starts on its own and begins with a monthly calendar. I made it so the numbers were on the outer edge of each page, for easy viewing when you're searching for a particular date. I also added quotes throughout the pages. Very happy with the result and I made it available for a limited time in my Etsy shop Pop Mix - printed and hole punched!
Been joining several Facebook Groups lately, and one of them had a Stationery Swap List, so I thought I'd participate to see what it's about. My swap partner collected some nice things for me and I got the package today! Nice!
Have been messing around with Pic Monkey online and created some downloadable planner inserts for printing. Made it available in my Etsy shop - popmix.etsy.com.
