I can't believe I'm only just blogging about the Erin Condren stuff I got during their Launch Day! Well, I received all my new planners and accessories less than 10 days after I ordered and everything was in good order. Talk about speedy delivery! Couldn't have been happier about it, because everything look so awesome!!
Vertical Planner and Accessories
I purchased the vertical in colour, as usual... with gold coil! :) One of the things that attracted me about the Erin Condren planner is the bright, cheerful colours throughout the planner, so of course, this is what I'll be using for my everyday planner! ... BUT, having said that, I also bought a neutral - in horizontal! (whaaa...?) My plan for this particular planner is to use it as record keeper for my Etsy Business. Private info stuff like sales, customer requests, suppliers, purchases, etc. So, I won't be showing off the pages like I do with my vertical planner.
Neutral Horizontal Planner
I decided to go completely black and white with the neutral horizontal, so I got the wild cover in black and white and tried the black coil, which is one of their new things this year. The coil is coated with black, similar to how they do the gold coils.
Inside the Planner
This is what the front page of the colourful vertical planner looks like. And their new sticker books and sticky notes are simply gorgeous! And how about their new pocket design at the back?! Just beautiful!
I'll be showing the inside pages later on as I use them. Meantime, I'm madly designing some new stickers to go with all my new planners. Because planning these days = stickers. Ha! :p
Planner Kit Subscription
I started my subscription to the Planner Society back in October, 2015. At the time, I didn't realize that there was a waiting list. I subscribed first week of August hoping to get the September kit with the pink flamingos and yellow florals, but it was all sold out! This planner kit is probably the most popular out of the planner subscription kits out there and even though it's a bit costly, it's the only one I get. Because I'm in Australia, it cost around $50 to $55 AUD a month for this (including shipping cost). It's really the postage that boosts the price, but so far, every month has been worth it.
The kit is usually jam packed with pretty stationery, exclusive only to The Planner Society. It includes planner stickers, puffy stickers, sticky notes or list pads, see-through stamps, quote cards, embellishments, charms, pretty papers, a pen and specialty items like a pencil case or notebook. Every month, the kit seems to get better and better. To be honest, I don't use everything in it! I don't do stamping and I'm not really into scrapbooking, so I tend not to use the cut out embellishments. But even then, I'm happy enough to pay for a wonderful pack every month. I consider this a luxury item, though. For planning, you don't need all this stuff! All you need is a planner (or notebook) and a pen. That's it. All this extra bits and pieces just makes it more fun, creative and enjoyable.
Monthly Planner Society Kit
These are the kits I've received so far, from The Planner Society. Planner not included - I just like to take photos of the things next to my planners! :)

Erin Condren Planners
June is also the month where Erin Condren releases her latest life planners. This year, there is a "Luxe" cover available for the first time - which is a luxurious leather-like cover that's permanently attached to the heavy duty spiral coil. It's available in 3 colours - teal, purple and stone grey. It also features a metallic quote which says "create motivate inspire". Visit the update about the Luxe planners on the Erin Condren blog.
The new planners will have options for the spiral coil. People will be able to choose between the regular platinum silver coil, gold, rose gold or black.
Whether it's vertical, horizontal or hourly, we now have the choice between pastel colours or monochrome.
NEW LAMINATED COVERS
A whole lot of great looking designs will be released for the new look Erin Condren planners! For a sneak peak of their planners coming out on June 1, visit the Erin Condren update. Photo below is from their blog.
The Happy Planner
Me & My Big Ideas recently came up with a wide range of planners, which includes A5 size planners for students, jumbo size planners and Teacher's Planners, as well as more variety for their regular size planners. After constantly looking at all their new designs, I finally decided which one to get and made the order! I'll be blogging about it here once I receive it! I also purchased a couple of packs of their washi tapes and stickers. To have a look at all the gorgeous things they now have, visit the Me & My Big Ideas online shop!
To get an inside look of their planners, watch one of my fav YouTube planner girls, Belinda Selene reviewing the latest MAMBI planners and accessories.
B6 PLANNERS BY FLUTTERBYPLANNERS
For those who've been dreaming of a planner that's in between a personal size and A5 planner, there is now a B6 planner available at flutterbyplanners.etsy.com. Currently, it's on pre-order stage but the owner, Charlotte, was kind enough to lend me one to try out. The colour choices for these planners are pink, blue and shimmery purple! For more information and to look at the size details of this B6 planner, take a look at Charlotte's video below.
To make it possible for these planners to be fully available, Charlotte will need a certain amount of orders by the end of this month - May 2016! So if you're thinking about trying this size planner, visit flutterbyplanners.etsy.com and order now!
This is a well made, good quality planner, with a faux leather cover. The stitchings, pockets and gold rings are well done, and this appears to be quite resilient - it's not easily dented or marked and one of the nice things about this is that it's light weight! It fits in my satchel bag perfectly and doesn't weigh it down - which is awesome because I tend to pack my bag with a lot of other things! Nobody wants to be carrying a heavy bag all over the place!
Lots of pockets and storage to put all kinds of things in from business cards to sticky notes, paperclips and other bits and pieces you would normally use to plan. Overall, I love this planner! And it would be great to see this become available - but, it's only going to happen if there's enough pre-orders to cover the cost of its production! Here's hoping it will happen!! Because you know, we need more planners!!
If I didn't have enough Erin Condren planners, I would probably get another one right about now, just because they are currently 50% off! If you've been wanting to try one out, this is the time to buy it!
During my year and a few months of being in this crazy planner community I've discovered and am now a part of, I have purchased and tried quite a few weekly planners that are all so nice, pretty and functional... but for some reason, I just end up going back to my gold class Erin Condren vertical planner!
I'm happy to say that after experimenting with various decorating styles, I've found the one I'm quite happy with. Now, this may look quite girly, especially that it's from someone who's already 40 something. (Ha!) But, honestly, this is what I'm loving at the moment - kawaii, pastel and brights mixed together and script watercolour writing (thank you sticker machine). Also, these flower boxes which was inspired by some stickers that came in a planner kit I subscribe to every month (The Planner Society Kit).
Now, more about the Erin Condren sale! There is also a BUY ONE GET ONE FREE deal with their Planner Accessories! Washi tapes, sticker books, planner pockets, dashboards and all sorts of stationery to accompany the Erin Condren planners. So if you're keen, shop 'til you drop at the Erin Condren web store while the sale is on! Go on, get!
March Madness sale happening at Popmix Designs. 15% discount for purchases of $10 or more. Valid until end of March, 2016!
The shop has some new stickers, including cute doodle meal planner stickers, pick ups, more novelty numbers and heaps more to come!!
I'm not one to toot my own horn, but... I'm loving the stickers I've been coming up with for my shop, popmixdesigns.etsy.com! I think the arrangement on the actual sticker sheets look pretty good - I wanted each sheet to look great as a whole and not just have bits of blobs on paper.
I use these word stickers a lot and so far, they are the most popular in the shop!
I now have mini stickers, too. All these things have been thought of awhile ago, but I'm a bit slow in the execution of things. There are still a lot of designs on the works and I suppose, it may be a never ending process!! I seem to have ideas popping up in my head all the time!
Very happy with how my planner icon stickers turned out! They are quite cute and definitely something I'm excited to use on my planners! :)
So it seems that I buy a lot of stationery and planner supplies every month! There was a time when most of my spending money went on clothes, shoes and makeup... but these days, it's all about my crafty planner things! Stickers, washi tapes, pens and pretty accessories! #stationeryaddict! :D
First up... these adorable Lemon Paper Co. stickers! The owner, Jessica, was so generous and kind sending me these kawaii planner stickers (which I now use all the time)!! I would have to say they are now some of my favourite, must have stickers and they've become part of my "staple" stickers to use on my planners. Shop at lemonpaperco.etsy.com and get some of these super cute stickers!!
It took awhile to get to me, but this Valentine's Day Planner Kit from The Planner Society is so worth it! Love the papers, pretty sticky notes and washi and of course, the stickers!! Their monthly planner kit is the only one I'm subscribed to at the moment and it never disappoints. This particular kit is a holiday special and it's too awesome for words! :D
One of the shops I regularly go to is Kikki K - there's a couple in the main CBD of Brisbane and it's just walking distance from where I live! How can I not go there a lot, right?
I finally got their cute watermelon planner in medium - small enough to fit in my hand bag, which I carry with me everywhere. The pens on the photo are from Kmart - $3 for a pack of 6... bargain! So many lovely stationery these days that my spare change usually get spent on these. What can I say? It's my weakness!!
It's the beginning of February and I thought I'd join the Happy Planner Instagram Challenge - first on the list is a planner selfie. Since this month is all about hearts and flowers and love, what better way than to give a bit of self love and take a photo of myself, with one of my fav planners!
I'm in my early 40's now and taking selfies isn't really something I do these days. So this is a rare occasion. I wanted this pic to look like I'm an 80's chick - I should've matched the heart and wore hot pink lipstick. But anyway, thank goodness for airbrush because I didn't want to cover my face with foundation just for a selfie. Haha. These days, I really only wear lipstick and maybe a bit of eye makeup every now and then. At least I've now got a photo of what I look like at the start of 2016!
Planner Society Girl
Yesterday, I finally got the January Planner Society kit. And it's as awesome as the rest of the ones I've received so far! My subscription for this kit started on October 2015. I feel like I'm officially a Planner Society girl having received this gorgeous crystal pen that came with the kit! How beautiful everything is that's included in this planner kit! So happy that I took the plunge and subscribed, even though it cost an arm and a leg... well, okay, not that much! But it's still a bit expenso due to the Aussie dollar value being a bit low compared to the US dollar.
I am also expecting the Valentine's Planner Kit & Sticker pack I purchased, which was a one off thing. Soon, I hope!!
My must have planner supplies and accessories for 2016 are:
1. Stickers (of course)
2. Washi Tapes (always)
3. Tassels (ooh that's new)
A year ago, I wasn't a fan of these "planner tassels" - to me, they looked like they should be hanging on curtains! But I received one from the Planner Society Kit a few months back, and I grew to like it dangling from one of my planners. So, I decided to try out a couple more from someone who I've followed on Instagram since I joined - Hautepinkfluff on Etsy. I received them a couple of weeks ago and they are simply gorgeous! Especially with the little charms that came with it. I like how these tassels just fall nicely. They're not so fluffy that it looks puffed up and that it could fray on the edges any moment. They're well made and looks like they will last a long time.
A few months ago, I decided to start using word stickers on my vertical planner, just to make it look neat and uncluttered. Since I tend to do similar things each week, it was easy enough to produce! My weekly personal planner is pretty much just an overview of the week - I don't put as much details on it these days, since I now use a daily planner to schedule my time during the day.
Besides my word stickers (which are available in my Popmix Designs Etsy Shop, I also love quotes, the Reset Girl stickers, Planner Society stickers and other cute decorative ones from various Etsy Sticker Shops (yes, including my own designs).
To start the year off, I ended up ordering more sticker packs from Me & My Big Ideas. They have a wide range of bright and colourful quote stickers, which fits nicely in any planner.
Nothing beats decorative borders using washi tapes! They come in hundreds and thousands of assorted designs and patterns, they're light weight and re-positional. And most of all, they are quite affordable!
I joined Washi Lane's Washi Club Kit a month or so ago and my subscription started this month of January, 2016! I received the cute package a couple of weeks ago and I'm quite happy with the kit! It included a few washi tapes, some stickers and paperclips. It's nice to receive a surprise kit every month that's under $15 (AUD).
There's a few more planner accessories that I use to pretty up my planners - page markers, paperclips, dashboards and other cute planner charms I got given, like this cute cake and mint planner poly clay charms from Bits to Pieces at Etsy. The lady who makes these was so nice and kind to give me samples of her work! ... and I love them! They are so well made and make the perfect planner charms.
So far, these are my fav planner stuff which I'll be using more this year! Make sure to follow me on Instagram if you want to see more planner goodies and planner inspiration! Instagram.com/catherina.amor.
